Luciano Berio’s : Sequenza X
Sequenza X was composed in 1984 by Luciano Berio as a commission for the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
It was written for trumpet and piano. The piano, however, only acts a as resonator.
With its array of extended techniques, it is consisted one of the most technically challenging pieces for trumpet. But for trumpet virtuoso, Guy Few, it’s just child’s play. Luciano Berio’s Sequenca X brings Guy Few’s performance of this exciting piece to life.
